Wineries may now apply for a Direct Wine Shipper License from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, https://plcbplus.pa.gov/pub/Login.aspx. The license fee is $250 per year.  Wineries must also obtain a Sales Tax License from the PA Dept. of Revenue, https://www.pa100.state.pa.us/Registration.htm.

This new direct to consumer license allows each winery to ship up to 36 cases of wine per year to a resident. Responsibilities include reporting shipments, paying sales tax and a $2.50 per gallon excise tax.
